This Yangebup resident has transformed his compact backyard into a luxurious outdoor escape. The combination of the Sapphire Pools fibreglass swimming pool, a cabana with a hidden bathroom, and a custom made feature wall with a bench seat make this backyard a beautiful, yet practical space.

The pool is surrounded by Banksia coloured exposed aggregated concrete, which was poured by Dingo Home Solutions. The grey tones of the concrete flooring and the Black Quartz cladding feature on the back cabana wall, give the whole area a modern and spacious feel. The wall and seat have both been rendered in Wattle, a weathered grey colour, and are highlighted by the dark shades of the custom made Balinese cushions that cover the bench seat. The cabana also hides an outdoor bathroom, accessible via a side door. Viva Developments designed and built both the cabana and bathroom.

The Empire pool model was manufactured and installed by Sapphire Pools, measuring 6m x 3m, with a depth of 1m to 1.7m. This model was the perfect fit for this backyard, with its attractive slim-line design and unobtrusive side entry steps which offer a generous swimming area for a smaller sized pool. The full- length side entry step, not only provides additional seating in the pool but has been fitted with spa jets for that little bit of added luxury and relaxation.
